The most time-consuming part of installing a water heater, is the correct prepping and installation of the cold water supply fittings. I have found a much faster and more professional-looking way to accomplish this is to use a product called The Tomahawk Valve Kit.
The kit has all the correct fittings preassembled for the cold water supply.
